Established in 1986, Reston Montessori School is a private, co-educational school for children from 3 months through third grade. The programs include Infant (3 months - 18 months), Toddler (18 months-3 years), Primary (3-6 years), and Elementary (6-9 years). Our classes are directed by certified Montessori teachers and exceptionally well qualified assistants. We are an independently owned American Montessori Society Affiliate.

We are located in Reston, Virginia, a planned community of 64,000 people located in the Northern Virginia suburbs about 20 miles west of Washington, D.C. (See map.)

Approximately 200 children attend the school. They represent many cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds. Most live within a twenty-five mile radius of the school. The common element among parents is their interest in providing their children with a high-quality education based on the principles of the Montessori Method.
